Hello everyone. By the looks of it your forums aren't very active when it comes to applications, but I decided to write a few words anyway and I'll contact someone later as well when back from work.
My IRL name is Dimitris. I'm 31 yo, from Greece. I work as a server engineer in a import/export company. My favorite thing to pass my free time is playing games. And I've considered WoW to be my main game for a long time now. I started playing back in Wrath with the launch of Naxx. I started raiding casually until the end of ICC. And then with Cataclysm launching, I started playing more seriously and raided on a heroic/mythic level up until (pretty much) now. My biggest achievement was a world 60 Ragnaros 25 hc kill back in Cata. I have almost every CE (or endboss) kill from Cata until now, with a few exceptions that were mostly due to my guild at the time dying. I slowly transitioned from a hardcore mindset to a more relaxed one as well, and I'm currently trying to find a guild with a relaxed atmosphere but with still a serious approach to raiding of course. Currently, the goal I mostly set for myself is to mainly have fun, with a group of good/fun people, in a generally respectfull environment. And in game terms, I aim to get CE every tier, but I don't really care about just that, if I can't find the rest that I mentioned. Having fun is more important to me at this point in my life, than just ranks and achievements. I believe that your guild has what I'm looking for. So here I am.
I have been a shadowpriest main for more than 15 years. With a few tiers swapping to a different class because of the guild's needs. I have played a mage/dk/shaman at a high level. But priest was what I'd consider my main up until the end of Shadowlands. For some time I had difficulties enjoying my priest. The spec changed with a direction I didn't agree with and in a way that I gradually stopped having fun playing it. My long time guild died at the end of Shadowlands, and many of my friends that I played with also stopped before Dragonflight. I was, and still am to be honest, in a weird situation, where I am in search of a guild that fits me, but also a main I can enjoy and have fun with, longterm. Just before DF launch, I had a friend asking me to join his guild and see how it goes. It was okay initially but I quickly realised that the guild was not for me. Guild name is Imminent on Twisting Nether horde. A greek only guild with good progress, but not the raiding atmosphere I was looking for. Schedule was also more demanding than what I currently fill comfortable with. I stayed there until our CE VoTW kill and then I stopped as I had planned on doing for a while. I played a devastation Evoker, but it ended up being short term fun for me and not the class I could see myself maining for long. I left my Evoker behind to try a warlock for the first time ever, in a new guild that I joined due to another friend already playing there. That guild was also not for me. For similar reasons but also rudeness, fighting over loot and what not. Not what I was looking for. So I decided early on in the tier, that I would leave and let the officers there know. They asked me to stay until we've reached Sarkareth because they wanted a second gateway on some fights. When we did reach it, I stopped and took a break up until now. I didn't hate the warlock, but the whole atmosphere in that guild wasn't good for me and that extented to my warlock as well I guess. So my warlock is also in hybernation for now, even if it's my most geared character in DF. I'm unsure of what to main still, but I have some classes in mind that I really like. I'm interested in discussing about this with you if you're also interested. And maybe I'll have an easier time deciding if I know the guild's needs too. Retri paladin/DK/Shaman is what I'm looking into atm, with none of them being well geared. I'm just coming back to the game as I said. But as soon as I decide on what to main, I'll focuse on it 100%. I consider myself a dps player. But I can heal very well on a high level too. I have done so many times in the past. So a class that could off spec heal like a shaman/pally feels like a good pick for me. I like the idea of tanking in dungeons too, but I wouldn't have fun doing so in raids.
I feel that I already wrote too much. Please ask me anything you like if interested. I'll give you a few links of logs etc. I can't find logs for my evoker but I can do so for my warlock. They are not great but I tried to learn how to play a class I never had before, in a guild that made me feel like quiting. So that affected my performance a lot.
I'm a team player and loyal to my guild/friends. I would like to maybe join as a social until I'm more ready to raid, if you're not interested in investing in me currently.
